    8x57 Mauser Berda Primer Dimensions

Anybody have any idea what the dimensions are for berdan primers used in milsurp 8x57 Mauser brass? When I search online, I see 7.62 mentioned, etc but never 8x57 and I know there are a variety.

    Thanks!

Here you go, Uber. It has the most complete WWII era factory information on the 8x57 cartridge that I have found.

Hi ,I drilled and picked out some Yugoslav milsurp primers, the pockets went.215".Ball bearing and large hammer swaged pocket mouth to accommodate a Boxer primer of .210" snugly. These will be used for light plinkers with appropriate caution.Good luck,Mike
