I have a Saeco mold for a Pope style 32cal tapered boolit for breach seating but I haven't used it in so long I have forgotten if its nose pour or base pour. I owned a Zischang Sharps 32/40 for awhile and that boolit seemed about right for it. I think its about 200gn.

I am not going to breech seat the .45-70, but I wanted a better mold than that god awful Lee, the Lyman is not much better.

I just bought a custom Hoch .32-40 mold 195 grain. Yet to be delivered.

I have had my Saeco 32 mold for a long time so compared to todays prices I got it cheap.
I didn't see the 45 in your title. I don't know why I was thinking you meant 32 but I was.

c.Robertson, there is a group buy going on right now for a MiHec-2-cavity-Brass-Hollow-Base-45-70-mould that will fit your needs.

Never seen a nose pour mold how does that effect the nose with the sprue.

The meplat of most is the same size as the mark from the cut sprue, so you can't even notice that and of course the bases are perfect.
