Jeff, I'm just lucky he's small for the breed. When he wandered in to my daughters place almost 4 years ago. he weighed 86 pounds. He's up to 106 now but should weigh 150 or more. We found out where he came from and the neighbors said he was left out for days at a time. Maybe he had food and water and maybe he didn't. He was a bag of bones when I found him. I'm so attached to him now, I'm going to be devastated when he dies.
Oh and for the record, that's how I describe our 3 foundlings to people. I tell them we have a medium dog, a large dog and a barking pony. I found out that he was born without a tail. He is 42" from nose to rump and 32" at the shoulder.
For the record, I named him Lord Remington. We call him Remmy for short.
Please forgive all the clutter. This is the basement I share with my grand daughter. It's where I watch TV and work on my hobbies and its here toy room behind me.
