Looked at one and found it impossible to have my thumb reach the safety to take it off if cocked and locked. My hands are not small and probably other people have this problem too. I am wondering what they are thinking or is it just me that would need to use both hands to get this cocked and locked pistol ready to fire? Hold t in the right hand and use the thumb of the left to take off the safety. Seems fairly ridiculous to me.

One could carefully manually lower the hammer and carry it for double action like the Rami decocker model, but hammer back it takes the other hand to take off the safety (non decocker model). If carried with the hammer back and safety on it requires two hands to make it run for me.

Other then that it seems to be an impressive chunk of metal.

Am I missing something or does this pistol not make a lot of sense to others who have used it and managed the safety?

The safety is very flat, for maximum CCW use. CZ pistols can be carried cocked and locked, but generally they are carried decocked to the half cock notch, shown here with the wife's new RAMI BD.



The original safety version has to be carefully decocked manually, which I did for years with her original 2075 RAMI, and still do, but the BD decocker model is better for that.

I just double checked my RAMI and had no issues. I do have 2XL hands and aftermarket grips, though. My wife didn't have any issues either.
