    223 reloading die question

Ok, I am going to be reloading for a NEF Survivor in 223.
Which Lee die set do I need?
    1)The Deluxe 3 die set
    2)The Ultimate 4 die set
    3)The Pacesetter 3 die set

Since its a single shot and the brass is only going to be used in this rifle, I didn't know if I needed the full size die escept for the initial resizing. And didn't know if the FCD was needed at all for the same reason.

You may as well get the 4 die set. At a later date you'be glad you did. I have a couple Pacesetter sets that I eventually added to. Pay now or pay later.

Ok! Geesh, I was trying to save a buck or two.

Ordered though Titan. They always ship fast and cheap.

4 die only. You will end up buying it later!

I suggest the regular RCBS X-die 2 die set. You will not have to trim any cases and will get much longer case life if FL sizing is needed. A FCD will not be needed. Get a Lyman .22 M die instead and you are set to go.

I have both the Lee Deluxe and Dillon. If I'm loading for a bolt gun, I use the Lee set. If loading for an AR, strictly Dillon. I haven't had a need for the 4 die set and I have been reloading 223 for better than 10 years. If loading for a NEF single shot, with 223 brass as plentiful as it is, I would just go with the deluxe set.

Four die. The collet die will come in handy with the Hani.

4 die set will give you full capability for reloading for any type of rifle and will be cost effective (save money) in the long run. Safeshot
Getting old is the best you can hope for.

You will eventually need to full length resize, and when you do you'll be glad you bought the 4 die set. I always do, b/c you never know when you might add another firearm in that caliber to your collection.
