Your website is easy to get around
Things I don't see. As for myself I prefer a flat tipped bullet rather than a spire. You don't list a price for 2 cavity mold I could see.
At the price you list for the 6 cav I think you will sell a lot of molds, IF you get a variety of styles

like i said, we can make ANY bullet profile you want for the same price as our standard molds. we dont charge extra for custom molds.

also, the pricing is for 2 cavity, 6 cavities are +$20.

smoke, 7mm is easy, its only a .284 it would take us about 3 hours to make a reamer for it in any profile you like. if there is a particular bullet profile you want, just ship us a sample, we'll make a reamer to cut that profile at no charge.

you should notice that if you go onto our site, under the 30 cal mold, when you select the weight and ogive you can select "Custom" this is the option for when you want to pay for a custom mold. with that option set, we will match your requirements the best we can. if your going to send us a sample, we'll cut a reamer for making that mold.

we just finished a .309 with a #12 ogive running 125g and a .277 with a #11 ogive at 110 grains. the higher end ogives like the #11 and #12's are very difficult to make a reamer for. cutting flutes in a #12 reamer is a task that took us a day alone.

this is a pic of the #12 .309 reamer and how it looks when cut into a scrap piece of aluminum for a test. the projectile is to the left of it is what our customer sent to copy for him.

also that reamer is a COBALT reamer. if you ever tried to cut a COBALT steel before, you know how difficult it is cut it. little alone shape it in a precise manner.

oh.. lol. ok. i thought $20 extra for a 6 cavity is pretty good.

in reality, when it comes to the 2 and 6 cavity mold pricing, what affects the pricing the most is how much i can get the blanks for. both the 2 and the 6 cavities have the same shop time on them. so that cost is the same. there's no other costs involved.

Are you going to do a heavier design for 300 whisper? something shaped like SMK?
and your sizing .308, .309, .311, .312 - is that as cast or after the .002 powder coating is applied?

like i've said 4 times already in this thread alone. WE can make any caliber, any weight, any profile you want for the same price as our standard molds. so yes, we can make any heavier weight you want. adjusting for weight is just drilling a bit deeper into the cavity with the reamer.

the sizing is cast drop out size. when powder coating, you should size, powder coat, then size again. some people just powder coat then size. and some use hi-tek and dont even bother to size.. they just tumble coat load and shoot.

we are making a 458 socom mold for the same price as a 223 60grain mold. we dont care. the cost is the same for us, shop time and materials.
