Very nice. I notice you sell samples of different pistol boolits. Are there plans to list those molds and include dimensional drawings? A lot of us prefer to review the drawings before buying.

nope, wont be sharing any information like that, its proprietary information.

we dont just sell sample pistol bullets, we also sell rifle samples as well. notice the 30 cal, 223's and 270's. we'll have more as time goes on.

also the samples are just so people can try out powder coated projectiles without having to buy all the equipment to start powder coating. it is not a source for your projectiles. we are not a bullet manufacturer, and have no intentions of being one. some of the samples are from lee molds some are not. as time permits we will be changing the lee molded bullets over to our smooth walled projectiles.

That's disappointing (no dimensioned bullet drawings). I'm referring to bullet drawing like those on the Accurate Molds website. They are very helpful when verifying the boolit will fit in your chamber and/or case (ie where's the base vs case neck). The business barrier to entry is largely equipment and machining skill. Boolit design to a much lower degree.

doesn't really matter much.. if you want a bullet profile based on something you like, we can make a reamer to match it.

I think that's why he offers samples, so you can try his production molds before you buy them. It's not like anyone who buys Jwords demands the exact dimensions of said bullets.

A beveled base on smaller pistol calibers (25 & 32) in a 6 cavity doable? I'm getting sketches together.

    Thank you and good luck.

Nice site, hopefully I can order something soon, can you do HP molds?

I caught a slight error on your sample bullet page, you have some listed as 40 ACP. Just so you know..

what kind of tolerance overall are you trying hold on a 6 Cavity Mold .
Ie say a 308 size ordered..what is the expected difference/tolerance between smallest and largest cavity on a 6 cavity mold ..

    Thanks

    Congrats on the no-groove molds.
    I will be ordering a 311 shortly to try HI-TEK coating for a new 300BLK I'm building.
Will you be shipping to Australia? And will you be taking Paypal for payment?
    Hooroo.

tolerances on all molds are all +.002 / - .001, but we try and keep them -.000 under. with all custom molds, you should ALWAYS final size them. so drop out size is not that big of a deal.

as for shipping to Australia, yes, we will ship molds out of the country, but NOT sample bullets. yes we do take paypal only.

we do have 40 acp sample powder coated projectiles.

I think he's trying to tell you the 45 ACP is correct but the 40 ACP is incorrect the 40 S&W would be correct nomenclature

Do you have payment options other than PayPal? I hesitate to frequent vendors like PayPal that are anti - Second Amendment.

Great looking site and pretty molds! I have been Hi-Tek coating the Lee Bator but think a little more velocity would be possible with more bearing surface. So far I have shot the Bator to 3,619fps in my 23" Contender 223 Rem.
I will order some of the 22 cal boolits to coat and try out the spire point.

Not being big on the lingo of bullet design. What do you mean by #11 ogive or #12 ogive?
Can you explain what this means?

LOL, reads like the OP is actually powder coating the molds themselves.
