I happened apon a YouTube video the other day about wrapping your bullets in foil to improve accuracy in sabots...has anyone tried this? I will try some in the next week or so and let you know how it goes..

Does this mean wrapping the bullet in foil, putting bullet & foil into sabot, and then shooting it? Or is this about replacing the sabot with foil? I’ve never heard of anything like this.

He's wrapping the bullet in foil, then dropping it into the sabot.

Or you could use paper.
Or use a bigger boolit.
Or use a thicker sabot.
Or use regular paper-patching techniques, and lose the sabot.

its useful for over sized bores that dont take a sabot snugly.

LOL I saw a u-tube from a guy that claimed to 'Show how to easily purify lead'. He would take a clip on WW in a pliers and hold it to a power grinding wheel and remove the oxidation till it was shiny and claimed it was now 'pure lead'. Wrong in so many ways. But Like my Dad used to say, "Whats the sense of being an idiot if you cant show it off"? Anyone can post anything on u-tube...
