I have some bear oil and some beeswax and some lanolin and was thinking about mixing up a little batch to use for bpcr .45 Colt.
Any thoughts or opinions?

You could make a version of emmerts improved. Bear oil was a staple in the old days.
45% beeswax
45% unsalted crisco shortening
5% oil
5% anhydrous lanolin
Other wise thin beeswax with the oil and lanolin to the consistency wanted. For ease I would stay around 5-10% lanolin.
I'd stay at 5% lanolin period, it's great stuff but more than that turns the lube into something other than intended.
I'd go with the recipe above, it's super close to what I use for B/P.
