Yes Hatch it is, the bend helps the shank stay upright in the press pin.

Also it was marked fragile because as you can see it is (sarc)

Yes sir. Working fine. I actually ended up making rod straight beacuse this sizer is rifle only and it allows rod to move unimpeded when it bottoms out on top of extended slider. I was also able to modify hornady collator to make em go point down. All i need now is a cam and motor and it will be automated.

Nice that the collator was able to be converted, have you run any through by hand?

Still haven't drilled the press pin
I sold two control panels this month so I been busy with them
The boy started Boy Scouts last week. First camp out is tomorrow. I will be busy all weekend with that.
I wanted your setup to do the Blackout boolits. Since my master caster is being copied I haven't cast any more to need to use your sizer setup.

I have been looking at the lee debulger Kit, seems to me it is just a small addition to a FCD, not really a die of its own.
Rumor has it you need a makrov FCD to side 9mm cases, anyone know if this is correct?

I am thinking with a bit of SS in the lathe I can come up with a punch design that will de-prime as well as resize the case. If this is true, then I shall see if I can get the AS/2 to do that task as well. I can build another case collator easily.

Yes I have ran some by hand. jury still out on point down for production speeds. Granted it will do it but many more seem to orient point up before the sweeper has to kick em out. You get a much faster rate point up. I may rethink the flipper off of Jmorris post. I was trying to avoid it but am just wondering if point down will keep the feed rate high enough. Still playing around a bit.

There lie the bane of sizing, its not that the AS/2 cant do the volume, its getting a reliable feed of the casts in the correct orientation. Am I correct?
The base down method would size as well, however I fear pointy casts would possibly be damaged by pressure on the tip.

If you can get a collator to drop base down and use a flipper, you would solve all your issues.
I use 2 preloaded Gattling Mags, that gives me 500 before I have to reload the mags.

Spent all day cutting up steel, had a 28" disc explode, that was "interesting" and definitely a heart starter!
The weekend is now here will get back on the job Monday.

NHPaul tells me he has put 12,000 through his AS/2 and somewhere on the forums is a video of it, buggered if I can find it though.

New batch under construction, 20 slide blocks arrived today.

Really? Its just a bolt with 4 different sized holes and a thread tapped in, anyone with a lathe can knock one up! Or a drill press if they was careful.

I used a old 32cal brass case as the chaser on the round head.

I will turn a better chaser up on the lathe but its not that important.
If you like I can do a video up on the how to and why if the interest is there.
