    Poll, $55 dollar mold cavities

I have been swamped with requests for bullet molds, of every different caliber and size. What I would like to do is list a poll and take a vote.

Our cherries cost 600 for three so I need to make sure we run the biggest sellers.

Thanks for voting in the poll!

    You are wise.

You can't invest money in something that won't offer a return.

.360 RNFP or WFN 200 grain. Heavy .357 mag. At least 180 grains, 200 , better.

Obviously I can have a TON of money tied up in these molds, hidden money that I have to eat, I want to eventually run all of these designs but we have to focus.

I am thinking of ordering only one cherry and dropping the cost by 2/3 but then if I do and a cherry breaks we are waiting another 6 weeks

I could not offer enough spaces for EVERY design so if you do not see it let me know I will list them here

    Why no .30 caliber?

So four votes for .360 200 grain, I guess it's decided.

    Joshua,

I'm fine with 2 cavity moulds for rifle and most pistol/revolver designs, however, when it comes to bullseye lead (H&G 68) I'm going to want a 4 cavity.

    Also, how about a 200 grain .340"?

    Regards,

    Tony

I"m with ACrowe25. PB 433 or 434 dia 250ish gr real Keith w/full dia front band & sensible draft on band/groove junctions.
And the same in .358, 170ish, and a .403-135ish SWC.

I agree that most people want larger molds and I am going to offer the design in larger molds, but there are a bunch of guys that may be able to afford only a $55 mold

    .226 rather than .228, 45 to 55gr, GC
    .432 200gr
I like the idea of the 55$ 2 cavity mold. Kevin

Its not really a poll with only one selection in some calibers. I don't care for the single weight given on those calibers so wont join the fun.

As Gear has mentioned before (more than once), there is a shortage of small caliber rifle molds .280 and smaller...and I concur.

I only picked three on the poll...they were all under .280
    that's my 2˘

PS...I really like seeing the .271 in that 125gr area...my first choice.

I'm assuming the stated sizes are cherry sizes and the actual boolit cast from them will typically be .002 or .003 smaller, depending on alloy and technique...Right Joshua ???

I too see a gap here, 45 2.1 will be having me run the 6.5 Grendel boolit at some point which will run in the 125 to 130 range depending. It will also be offered in standard and military sizes.

If there is not a diameter or size or specific boolit request let me know you are looking for please let me know.

Also, I posted nominal diameters, I can interpolate the cherry to make the mold larger or smaller (EG. .225 boolit vs .227)

I know it's not super popular, so you likely won't be interested, but I for one would love to see a .252 50ish grain boolit for the .25 Auto.

Finding molds for this little guy is always difficult, and I would sure love to have another.

I can't see the poll on TapaTalk but just wanted to chime in. I agree that there is a gap w/ molds smaller than 30cal. So much so that it has prevented me from buying rifles in smaller calibers. A mold maker would have plenty of business if they made smaller caliber molds.
