What's the point of a mid weight boolit? It's not subsonic and rob silvers says performance is best at 100-130 grains.

I solid lead bullet of 140 to 160 gr hitting at 1800 fps punches quit a hit. Makes a nice pig load.

The jacket 110 to 130 gr loads are traveling at 2200-2300 fps. Not the best for the 1:7 barrels they sell. You will have all kinds of issues trying to shoot a cast lead bullet over 2200fps out of a 1:7 or 1:8 twist barrel.

I personally have 2 rifles that this bullet will fit perfectly. One is an AR chambered in 7.62x40 WT and the other is a K31 chambered in 7.5x55. The AR has no throat and the K31 has very little throat. This bullet should work very well in both. The AR has a 1 in 10 twist and the K31 is 1 in 10.25. Bullet nose profile is the biggest problem with both rifles.
