I'd bet on a month or two. But nobody knows.... I'm just watching until I have the funds. The 10mm mihec just depleted them. It's unfortunate there is no lead time, but there you have it. A year ago I pulled out of a 2 year old buy.... and it's still going...

Here is how I "pay" for custom molds.
Knowing that most take weeks if not months or years,
I sign up and then put back 5 to 10 dollars a week.
When the buy closes I start looking at how much money I have put back
on that mold and others and adjust for what is needed.

Please take me off of this buy. Just lost interest in subsonic suppressed and there are plenty of 30 cal molds to choose from elsewhere. Thanks.

I'm still kind of debating this, but I'm not sure if the hollowpoint will make much of a difference hunting if I'm already going to be shooting subsonic.

The hollow point that this will be able to use from the 311 410 is long, real long. I think it may be included, but I don't know. With the wasp waste, and deep hollow point you should get a good, fast expansion at subsonic speed, and that induces the tumbling. All of the other cast boolits out there like the NOE 247 grain boolit are great, but they pencil through anything without tumbling, or expanding. This design too Bob quite some time to come to this conclusion. He had allot of input from several of us on the board to get to a design that accomplishes many of the things that we should see in a subsonic blackout boolit. The wasp waste allows proper seating without stacking in the mag, while being a nose ride design. The nose ride section is real small to allow for function in a semi auto. The hollow point has to be designed to allow for quick expansion, but with a slender boolit this is a challenge. Mihec figured this one out on the 311410 boolit, and expanded that pin dimension to this one. It should be a fantastic boolit heads above anything we have seen for the blackout to date. This could potentially solve the problem with subsonic hunting laid out in this paper. So far there has been very little out side of very expensive bullets that solve this problem. I have high hopes for this one. http://digitalcommons.unl.edu/cgi/vi...dm_wdmconfproc

Can you do subsonic hollow point for powder coats?

gas checks and suppressors sound like a bad idea.

Hey folks. Very sorry to see we lost the original honcho for this GB.

I'd like to confirm, because it never was, if the pins from the 311410 GB will work for this mold. I have that mold, and those pins so I did not order them on this GB. But if they will not work, I'll need to adjust my order.

Thanks for taking up this GB and making sure it goes forward. It's a long wait in coming, but I'm betting it'll be worth it.

I would say yes, get the pins with the mold. Getting pins after the fact can be problematic. We will have to have Mihec chime in on the dimensions of the pins, or the ability to use the 311-410 pins. We were never informed whether or not he was going to go this route for the dimensions of the pins and blocks.
