I would have liked one of these in a 2 cavity as well.

All I can say is that you folks must be blessed. I can't even get a response to my PMs, much less my mold. Oh well.

Finally cast some up. I ordered a PC version and the dimentions on the boolits are .278 on the bands and .269 on the nose. Perfect, exactly as asked for.

Guys is there any of you that would either loan out or sell your mold? Or possible cast and sell some boolits. I backed out of the buy and now I am in need of this mold for a special project on a wildcat cartridge.

    Thank you,

Has anyone shot any of these yet? I've just noticed that the gas check shank size is large on the drawing, 270 gas checks run .253 and the drawing shows .262. Guess I'll have to check that when I get home. 7mm gas checks are .250, it would appear only 30 caliber checks will go on a shank at .262...

The .279 NOE I have tapers from .253 at the base to .250 in the drawing; Under (light) magnification I can imagine the taper and the base is accurate to the measurement via micrometer as far as I can tell on the actual mold.

This matches GC sizing from Gator; I do not know what size Hornady uses.

So has anybody put a mic on their cast bullets to see if the gas check area is correct or not?

I've checked, it is correct, the drawing is incorrect. Mine are .252.
