    Range report

    Shot krag rifle today.with my freshly installed rice peep.170g fngc over 20gr of sr4759 incredibly accurate 10 shot 1" group!I am ecstatic. Just incredible keeper load.

    What is the diameter of your boolits? My Krag sporter likes .311 and bigger.

    His .308 Krag probably doesn't have the long throat of a US Krag. In all my US Krags .311 is big as I can go without neck turning. Maybe I could do .312 with Winchester brass, but I only have a couple of them.

    This thread is encouraging to me!
    I just picked up a Krag two weekends ago. I am just waiting on brass, then it is off to the range this weekend.

    Nice results, feels great to see those holes so close together. I have had a few krags in 6.5 usually they were toot toot toast, to bad they are very slick and finely made. Have only seen one 30-40 up here.

    That's the true measure of accuracy. Great load and rifle! Not forgetting the shooter mind you. Good one!
