    Yugo barrels

I recently purchased some of the new in wrapper barrels that Cope had for sale, how do y'all handle the ''safety ring" do you simply turn it off or cut for extractor as they did on the 24-47. I believe they are same as any 98 Mauser except for the ring? The Yugo barrels seem to be of good quality from all appearance, and yes I like the old 8mm,great cal! Thanks lreed

Depends on which receiver you have.

Thanks,I had never noticed the lack of the "standoff" on the bolt face of the Yugo, would make a difference. Are there other Mauser actions that use the ring? lreed
