    Wheel weight 3030 boolits?

At the risk of asking a stupid question. Has anyone shot plain wheel weight boolits from a 3030? Wondering if it will work when not mixed 5050 pb WW at velocities around 1800 fps with a gas check. Thanks craig

the worst thing about ww bullets is that they do not expand very well on deer unless you hit a bone. I shot a small 80 lb deer through the heart and it ran but it dropped 30yds away. the bullet went in and the exit hole was the same size. the second deer I shot was a 100lb doe and I shot here in the forehead, she did not run away. I am shooting a 303 using lyman 314299 bullets, very accurate but a bit too hard on soft flesh and shot placement is a must for quick kill.

Yup, but use a flatnose for sure. That makes a much better game boolit.
