I see some black bullets in the pics and have a ?
I was thinking black is a no good for PC for or reports of it damaging barrels and such. Is that for only Tumble and spray is ok. Also it was only the matte black and gloss black was ok. But I only see matte at HF.
So the short of it all my info says no HF black on bullets unless you want to fire lap a barrel. Thanks.

The black I used is from Powder By The Pound, Super Durable Wet Black. I've been very happy with it & placed an order with All Powder Paints for the same thing only cheaper...That and more Kawasaki Green. And yes, my last tray had a few bases that got only a light coat of black.

    140gr 9mm

Started loading my 9mm PC bullets. Took 20 silver blue/red ones to the range to try 'em out before loading more. That 20 shots is at 15 yards out of an XD. I don't believe my lead rounds ever performed this good! This was 2 mags of 10, shot fairly quickly because I fell thru the ice walking out to put my target up! sunk into 5" water, in nice cold 20 degree weather... took my shoes off and shot in my socks! -Brad

ok how many saw a new post and clicked on it hoping to see some PC porn ? I check daily to see what someone has posted so come on guys lets see your PC bullets we want to see. I stopped by a place that PC the other day and was given some left over powders they had laying around have not tried them out yet. I also had a place that PC fence but that was a dead end just some thoughts on where someone may get some powder on the cheap.

    Sunday's boolit pictures...

Today I cast a few 452389 button wadcutters. They look like fun little plinkers.

    And then I coated 'em.

And I also cast some really soft C358-180s, both large and small HPs.

I think I'll put some soda-can PB checks on these, speed em up, and see how they do on water jugs.

    edit: with new pic.....
I put soda-can checks (.004) on the big HPs and went with .006 Al checks on the small ones, 'cause I'm gonna crank the smaller HPs up a little.
