How about a cast boolit postal match?

Well guys, spring is gonna be here soon, so who isn't looking for a reason to go shooting? I know I am. So I offering to host a postal match.

Match will end May 27th 2014

5 shots per target.
Shooting for group size.
Can enter as many categories as you like.

The category's are.

#1 100 yard scoped Rifle. Rest of your choice.

#2
100 yard iron sight rested. Rest of your choice.

#3 50 yard off hand iron sight lever gun.

#4 50 yard rested revolver.

#5 25 yard auto pistol off hand

#6 25 yard revolver off hand

#7 100 yard rested iron sight milsurp.

#8 200 yard rested scoped rifle.

#9 100 yard rested scoped single shot pistol.

#10 100 yard rested iron sight pistol (any kind)


All category's will be split into two groups, cast boolits, lubed or PC, and swaged.

You can shoot any target you like.

On each target, write the category's boolit, lube/PC type, load, rifle and scope kind.


Remember guys. This is all for fun. There is no winning or loosing. If we get some donations for prizes, they will not be given to the top shooters. They will be given away in a drawing. All you have to do to get entered into the drawing to sent a target. Not saying we will get door prized donated, but it has been known to happen in the past.

THERE IS NO FEE TO ENTER.

If anyone sees a rule I should add, or a category to add, just let me know and it will be done.

That's the point of the postal match. You can shoot from where ever you are.

We are shooting for group size. You can enter as many categories as you like.

I'm in for #1, #3, #6.

But I won't be at the range within the next week...as the forecast is for Lows BELOW ZERO every single night til the thursday the 6th and high's below freezing. The Good News is my club has a Pistol Carry class on the 8th, so that means the range will be plowed Ya know, I don't mind shooting in the cold too much, but parking on the gravel road and hauling guns and gear a few hundred yards through a foot or two of snow to the range, just makes is miserable.

As many tries as you like. Just send in a target when you are happy. Shooting a bunch of holes in a target and then marking 5 as your group is kinda cheating though
