    picked up a few lbs of lead today, it was seal rings for explosion proof light fixtures. Started as about a 5 gal bucket full and cooked down to about 12 ingots that iirc about 4-5 lbs each. There was a lot of junk on top of the melt when I finally got it all melted. Would this all be oxidation? the rings looked pretty clean when I started, just a little grey patina.

    I would test it to make sure it isn't zinc.
