    Free buoolit trap

I guess this is the best place to post this - I have the result of a boolit trap project of mine that has been sitting in my garage forever.
I was going to take it to the curb on trash day when I thought that somebody may have some use for it.
It is about 30" x 20" at its opening, it is a snail type boolit trap, the boolits are directed to the small opening in the back where they enter a steel pipe and spin in it until they lose their velocity and drop down.
I was going to put it at my local range but then decided that somebody may shoot too close to it and get injured by the splashback. I've only tested it with an air rifle and it seems to work, which does not mean that it will work with real boolits.
If somebody wants it, its free, you have to come and get it - zip 34786.
I am in Central Florida, if you want a bunch of free welded 1/4 steel, PM me, I'll keep it around for another week or so and then it goes to the landfill.

Don't take it to a landfill. take it to a scrap dealer and sell it, or give it to a scrapper.

Damn. Shipping would kill it for me, otherwise I would take it!

    Sell it for scrap?

Around here it would bring $120 per TON delivered.

Never throw anything metal away unless it costs more in gas to take it to the scrap yard. Make separated piles, then make a trip. It can be worth it.
