My LGS surprisingly had almost full shelves today. Several pistol powders in stock including a 8# keg of Unique that came home with me. The only powder I now am waiting on is a 5# keg of Trailboss. I have not seen any pistol powders from Accurate except a single pound of #5.

I just got two pounds of Power Pistol at Sportsmans Warehouse here in Las Vegas, They also had Unique and Bullseye but I had some of both and left them for the next guy, since he was standing just behind me.

A friend just gave me 4# of w231...I guess it does not count since I did not pay for it.

P.S. Another friend came in yesterday and dropped off about 30#s of pewter.

    Good friends.

1 lb of Hodgdon Longshot at $26.97. I went looking for some 9mm powder as i'm almost out of bluedot and it was the only thing I could find to work up a load using a 125 gr RN cast boolit for 9mm. When the bluedot runs out....

I grabbed a pound of steel today, and could see where the red-dot had been.
they only got 5 jugs of it in, so things are still slow on the supply side.

I think patience in waiting for what we want and using up those other powders we grabbed [cause they were there] will start to pay off at this point.

I grabbed a pound of steel today,
Speaking of Steel on a whim I loaded 8 grs in my Savage 340 behind an unchecked Lee 150 gr 312-155-2r bullet for plinking. Runs about 1250 fps and stays under 2"@100 yds. My new 150 gr .22!

it doesn't measure well but it seems to do just fine measured by volume in smaller amounts.
it sure slings steel shot outta the 12ga pretty good too.

so does 800-x which is another overlooked powder.

another lb of 800X. If ther's been a silver lining to the run on components, I've (re)discovered some very good "alternative powders," that I'll probably stick with.

Bought a 1# of Vectan BA9 to try. Looks almost exactly like BA10 but slightly different shade of color to the tiny little short extruded sticks.

Stopped at the Three Forks Ammo & Reloading store in Cle Elum, WA yesterday. Great little store. No gouging at all. Bought Power Pistol @ $22.00 per pound. A lot of quality stuff there without the big ticket price. Very refreshing.

I snagged an 8 pound jug of 700-x and 4 pounds of red-dot
    I think I'm good on 700-x.
I really need some 2400 and rl-19 [some red-dot wouldn't hurt either but I can wait for it]
