A month or so ago a friend gave me a partial can of IMR3031. Last night I loaded 50 .223's with it, another 50 with Varget. Took along a box of Winchester White box, and a box of American Eagle. All 55gr jacketed boattails. (Yeah, I know!)

Because of deep snow, our target stands were set up at only about 30 yards. Beyond that the drifts were too high for an old guy like me.
Shooting all of them out of a second hand Mini 14 that I have never fired before.

My first 5 shots with the 3031 loads were in the ten ring! None of the rest came close. I'm going to town Saturday and will be buying 3031. Lots of 3031.

I recently purchased all of this.

    2-1lb Unique $15.99each
    2-1lb 2400 $19.99each
    2-1lb IMR SR4759 $22.99each

1000 Winchester small pistol magnum $29.99

There was no H110, Bullseye, Herco, Clays, Universal Clays, International Clays, Win231, HS6, 700X, or AA1680 to be found in 4 different shops. I could easily count the names of powders in stock on one hand. Most had a limit of 1000 primers, and 2-1lb of powder or one large keg (4lb or 8lb).

A pound of H380 for some testing. I was there to buy primers but figured I had to buy at least a pound. I also picked up a case of CCI LR primers. Here is what the powder selection looked like and this is the worse I've seen it in a few months.

lol, would you be willing to post the name, city and state of that LGS ??? I would certainly help create some space on the shelves if I can drive there

I looked at my shelves yesterday after 15,000 primers followed me home, total count is at 46,000 primers for metallic cart. and 8,000 for the shotgun. Powder inventory is more than I'm supposed to have +some. Time to start shooting!!

They don't ship. That jug is for display only and is empty. Good chance they had it in the back.

I won't lie. Mine isn't that far off. But mine are stored in accordance w/ local fire code. And you will never see me post primer counts. I'm well below what's allowed if anyone asks

Received 48 Lbs of WC872 from Jeff Bartlett today on the Brown Truck. Lets see; that would be:

    12,445 .223/5.56
    or
    6,460 30-40
    or
    6460 .308
    or
    5333 45-70
    or
    1493 50BMG.

Decisions - Decisions. What fun it will be to decide, and all for $290.00 shipped.

8# of Longshot not much else around here that isn't way over priced. My LGS doesn't carry powder or primers which is too bad because he can get just about any weapon you could ever want. (got me a 227 Equinox in two days)
