A pound of PB, in the new Hodgdon can.
Never tried it before, but it was the only thing the local Sportsman's warehouse had in the would work for 20ga.
since it's going away soon, it'll probably be the best powder I ever tried...........

I got IMR 4064 from LGS.
They had LOTS of 1 lb and 8 lb jugs of it. Also many bottles of BlueDot, and I think, every number of Reloader. (but I don't use that)
KE4GWE - - - - - - Colt 1860, it just feels right.
I found one pound of Longshot at my LGS.
A couple more 1lbs -ers of sr4759.
I try to get a couple of pounds a week from the LGS while it's still alive.....

Im still well stocked on powder but while buying another Glock ( 17C) at the local gun emporium a couple of days ago,I picked up a pound of International.
Tried it today out of my Glock 17 with the RCBS 124 cn at 127 grains,3 grains went 927 fps,3.5 1040 fps.Both loads functioned well and shot accurately and clean.Might have to pick up some more,in todays environment 21 bucks its not a bad price ,about a penny a shot with the lighter load.Next I got to work it up in the .45 acp.

Picked up a couple of pounds of IMR 4227 today to try out. Cabelas had 8 lbs jugs of 3031, but the $199 price made me shake my head and go look at the eye candy in the gun library.
Didn't buy any but saw lots of IMR4064 at a LGS. Also plenty of other rifle powders. Pistol and shotgun powder is still rare.
I am now officially a hoarder of BE. It may not be the best in all my pistol cartridges, but it loads all of them accurately enough and gets the bullet out of the barrel!
How many pounds does one have to be in possession of to be an official hoarder?
I was planning a ride to northern new england next week and stopping along the way at different lgs's but its nit going to happen. Oh well......
