Bought a pound of 3031 - wanted IMR 4227, but not in stock today. Noticed that had several pounds of 4198 - first I'd seen since last fall. (They also had Federal .22 ammo!)

Yesterday I stopped into a gun store that is NOT known for low prices. I looked at the powder and they had 4759. I asked for two pounds and when the guy set them on the counter I looked at the price. They were asking $43 per pound. I told the guy to put them back on the shelf.

Picked up a pound of Power Pistol from my favourite shop in Lexington, NC. The owner talked me into it when he mentioned how well it meters and is useful in many pistol cartridges.

None - no one has anything I want here. Grafs has/had some 335, ~$30 delivered. PV doesn't list anything in stock.
    Whatever!

I'm getting 3lbs a week while it's still on the shelf at the LGS,,, I wish the store had some 8lbs-ers.

I'm getting as much as I can afford every paycheck while it's still alive and kicking.....

I was at a local flea market and lo & behold what do I see? A 3lb TIN of Win. 296!
I figured for sure that it was empty but no it had about 2 lbs in and I got it for $10!
I love a good deal! I'll compare to known 296 and start a little on the light side.

Yeah, I should've been a little more specific. I know bad things can happen with 296 and a lighter then starting charge.
