Bought 4 pounds of Alliant Steel today. We'll see how it works in handgun fodder. Fingers crossed.

Just found an 8 pound keg of Red Dot for $134. I have not used it, but have wanted to try it. I hope I like it!

Didn't buy any but went to my Uncle's and he quit loading shot-shells so he gave my what powder he had. Almost a full 8# jug of Longshot, about 3.5#'s of 4756, almost 1# of Unique and almost 1# of Red Dot. I've not used either 4756 or red dot before but I use longshot for 9mm & 44mag. But I'll learn.

In the last month I have picked up 1 lb of Green Dot, 700X, 4227, 3031, 4064 and 3 pounds of CFE223. Wish I could find some Unique and 2400 but these will show before long. Good luck on your powder hunting.

Stopped by sportsmans yesterday, and they had the best supply of alliant powders I have seen in a while. There is a limit of three one pounders or I bigger jug. I would have picked up some unique, but they had one 8 pound jug of red dot, so I scooped it up for 149.99 out the door. we don't have sales tax here.

Bullseye. Never tried it, but LGS has a LOT of it, so I'm gonna give it a whirl.

Not after I left. I love stores with no limit!! I'll be heading through TX on the I20 in July. I can spare a few lbs each of AA#5, AA#9, and AA#7 for my cost which is $27.49 per lb.

Heads up Love Life. In Carson, S&W Feed is going out of business, they have several powders on the shelf, I picked up my first pound of Leverevolution to play with in 170 gr. cast 30:30 rounds. $24.95 and I left 3 on the shelf. Several others that I didn't need. Change in their business plan, going into tractor sales and staying in reloading stuff, dumping the animal stuff. Can't wait for Sportsman's to open there, should make a big difference in what is available in this area.

Thank you for the heads up. The sportsman's is already open and as been picked clean. Last I was in there I just inquired about powder. All they had was US869 and 50 cal powder. There is a local place with the real holy black...

Love Life, too bad I20 is 5hrs North of here, or I'd meet up for a deal or trade. But, hopefully, by July Accurate and others will be coming back a bit stronger.
