I ordered some of the Vectan Nobelsport powders Grafs is selling to give them a try, Ba9, Ba10, and A0 pistol powders. I especially want to see how Ba9 compares to Unique since I seem to use a whole lot of that lately. It is also nice that Grafs will ship BP on the same Hazmat charge now since I only needed a pound of Fg.
2 cans of Du Pont 3031 and 1 pound of Hercules 2400 for $15 each, from an 80 year old reloader selling off his stock. Still had Re15, Unique, HS6 and 231 I may go back for. Most were unopened.
Picked up a pound of BE -86 at my LGS. I didn't need it but they had twenty 1lb jugs sitting there for at least 2 months at $22.50/lb.
I don't think people know what is for so they're leaving it alone.
I've worked up good loads for 9mm with 231 and Power Pistol and 10mm using Power Pistol but it sounds like this BE-86 has good potential.
Picked up two lbs of LVR, last week it was two of IMR4350. Powder shelf getting crowded, think I'll pass next time I see these two.

Well it wasn't today, but last Thursday I was able to buy 4lbs. of 231. $19.95 a lb.. Hope to go back next week and pick up 4 more lbs., they have a 4 lb. limit. Had maybe 35-40 1 lb jugs on the shelf.
it'll be gone by then.
I grabbed 2 pounds of H-414 and an 8 pound jug of H-322 today, I pondered another jug of 3031 or the 4350 I seen, but passed.
I seen a pound of bulls-eye looking pretty lonely down at the other end of the shelf, and a couple pounds of varget [then watched a guy drop one on the floor and the top pop off]
^^^ it'll be gone by then. Hmmm, really? Went back to Dave's Trading Post today and bought 4 more lbs. of 231. Still 27 1lb jugs left on the shelf. IMR 4350 about 39 1 lb jugs, 11 296 1 lb jugs, 22 IMR 4064 jugs, 19 WST jugs, along with 4227, RL 26, RL50, Tite Wad, etc.. The higest price powder we saw was a 8 lb jug of 4064 for $157.00. Shop safely folks.
8 lb jug of 4064 for $157.00 = that is a great price
8lb jug of IMR 4227 from Natchezss.

LGS had more rifle AND pistol powder on the shelf today than I have seen in at lease 5 years! 3 shelves totaly full! Almost every type of Hodgon and other powder. At VERY high prices. Many pounds of Varget, TiteGroup, 700X, and many more. Too rich for my uses! One pound/customer/type. NO Alliant!!!
They have boxes of bottles of Pyrodex at 50% off, so I got a couple bottles of a few grades at $12/#. Just to play with. Dirty stuff, but does go boom in my BP's.

Cabelas in Lone Tree CO had cases of 4198 and 4350 and some other stuff. They even had 4 1lb cans of the mythical 5744! I bought 1 and left the others.
Colorado Springs gun show had good selection of rifle and pistol powder. Bought 2lbs of AA1680 left 2lbs
Anyone find any Clays?
Woods and Water show , local vendor had red dot, bullseye, 2lbs of 2400 , 231, hp 38, 700x, power pistol,h110, and numerous rifle powders most everything was 29.99-35.99 except the varget which was 37.99 . I didn't buy any of it, but it was the first 2400,231/hp38 that has been here in a while.
I just saw this Varget go on sale. Only 20# in stock so probably not worth posting. Good Luck.

Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.
Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.
