Didn't buy powder, that's probably tomorrow -- 8 lbs. H380, 4 lbs. 4198, 2 lbs. RL15, and 4 lbs. IMR 4831. All of the powder is for buddies.

Today was 3 flats of 12 gauge shells $195, out the door.

And gave a buddy what I hope is enough for 2 cases of 209 primers. He and his kids are doing a road trip to a distributor.

Time to dig a little deeper into the double-secret gun fund.

Late entry here - My dad came up to TN for Thanksgiving and brought me some powder I had bought remotely on another website.
It was - 4lbs W231 (1 open, 3 unopened), 2 3lb cans of WAP (Win Action Pistol), 1lb WST, 8lb jug (looks unused) of Solo1000, 1lb Bullseye and a large Bullseye drum (opened) with a few lbs in it, and a pound + of VV 310. All for 80 bucks.
You can miss fast & you can miss a lot, but only hits count.

Bought some Superperformance, Accurate #5 and CFE223 from Natchez last week, one day, no hazmat fees. All 3 will be new to my reloading adventures.

Again, no powder, on the hunt for Green Dot. But I did find a full brick of Winchester large rifle primers.

Took a picture of it sitting on the shelf above the price tag, then texted the photo to some of my shooting buddies. Told them they had 10 minutes or I was heading down the road. A minute and a half later, I had a taker.

Think I have a lifetime supply, if one of the rummies didn't want it, I was going to leave it for someone less fortunate.

I'm surprised the guy who claimed them didn't get a ribbing from the other guys.

I like the CFE, the other I've never tried.

I was wrong, at the varmint shoot this morning when Jeff got the primers, he got razzed unmercifully. I think they waited until they could needle him in person instead of via text.

Day before yesterday I finally found a pound of Varget. $52.99. The "can" I'd emptied was bought at the same store in Nov. '20 for $31.99.

At this point if I need something, I am just glad to be able to buy it. Price is secondary.

Yeah. I view it as "the price of doing business" these days. I don't have legal bills, health bills, or pay alimony. I'm fortunate to spend money on powder and primers instead of a host of other things.

I scored an 8# of Titewad online yesterday. $251 was pretty reasonable to begin with, 10% off more than took care of the hazmat. Added 500 wads so with tax and shipping was a buck or so over $300. It is what it is.

I bought a one pound can of WW 231 for the phenomenally low price (in my area) of $39.95.

Found a local vendor at the gunshow today. Bought 8lbs of Vihtavuori N540 and 4lbs of N310. The N540 is to get ready for the Hickory Groundhog and Egg shoot the first Saturday of April. I won't be shooting cast. The N310 should see me through 9000 rounds of 9mm. That puts me at about 8 cents per round for powder and primer. About half a cent for each powder coated 120 grain bullet.

I bought 3lb of IMR 4198 yesterday for just over $40/lb. I've never used this powder, but it seems useful so I am happy to have it.

Question though, should I go buy more of it?? Ammoseek shows none available online.
