    Ammo score

I stopped in walmart to buy some new tires for the car and saw they had Rem gold 225 packs of 22lr in stock for $11.17 a box. I bought my max of 3.

Congrats!!!! I'm not thrilled with the smaller count boxes, but when buying hen's teeth it's good to get what you can.

At that price they are almost $.05 each.
But I will recycle the spent case into a swaglet for theAR.

I heard on the radio yesterday (the firearms friday show) that our local sportsmans had 525 bulk packs for 27.99 and some smaller packs that I didn't catch. The price has gone up a dollar from just a couple months ago.

Got lucky at a local gun show myself this morning. Walked past a table that had a box of 1000 old Ideal brass gas checks but no price. Asked what he wanted for them. He just said make an offer so I said $5. He handed them over and asked if I wanted a whole jar of unlabeled copper checks saying they were 30's too. If those coppers are 30's too, I have a lifetime supply of 30 cal gas checks for $5. Wooo Hooo! Sometimes it is good to live in an area with few boolit casters.
That gun show rarely has deals but I am glad I made the 50 mile drive. Some of the tables are still trying to sell 525 Golden Bullet 22's for $60 but the prices on CCI small pistol primers there was $27.
