OK but what if at this time I decide to get in but when the money is called for I can not follow through? I really hate being undependable but I would be. That is why I am asking. I would like to have the mold but don't want to or cant commit with absolute certainty that I will be able to follow through when that unknown time comes. Please advise.

If you follow these GBs, you will see a lot of these guys jump in and out, sometimes three times or so and they drop out at the end or after it's closed. Your the guy who has to decide what to do yourself. If you can shoot and buy/trade rifles etc., you have the money to set back for a mold.

45: I did some basic research but I'm short on time (hey I have a 6 month old kid and travel for work here! ) so let me just ask this before I throw down for this one. Have you shot this in a 30-06 or have reports from those that did. I saw some references to it being more for the 308 at least in weight but my 30-06 is pretty good about lighter bullets and I'm not looking for .5" groups with this one. If you think it'll run OK for plinking and hunting purposes I'm down for a 2 cavity with both pin sets. My email is mckenziedrums at gmail dot com

No, but the basic nose fit should work fine.

If you think it'll run OK for plinking and hunting purposes I'm down for a 2 cavity with both pin sets.
It should do well for both.

Just happened on this in the daily unread posts. Put me down for a two (2) cavity with HP and blank pins.

I assume this will result in smooth bottom in either configuration.

This is a GC mold. The blank pins give a solid non-HP nose.
