I have a bunch coated but haven't had a chance to try them yet. Bullet is the Lee 440 with Hornady gas check, powder is Harbor Freight, a random mix of red and black. It was overspray that I'd cleaned up after doing a bunch of other batches. Put it back in the gun and used it again.

Sorry for the bad pic, all I have is a cheap point-and-shoot camera and very poor lighting. These are loaded mild and wild. Some with Trail Boss and some with a middle of data range load of H110. Should be quite the thumper! I'll be shooting these in an Encore carbine.

PC seems to work on pretty much any pistol bullet, so I don't see why it shouldn't work in the 500...

Been doing pc on the .500's for some time now. Excellent results in using much softer lead without leading and getting great groups. Mixing the Yellow and Red from HF gives you a nice safety orange

If PC works on rifle bullets I would think they would work on the .500 SW as well. The trick is if they are accurate enough to continue use.

Picked up a little toaster oven from WallyWorld that works great for under $20. Remember you can't use an oven you use for food, so those cheap toaster ovens are perfect.

Well, got to try out the 500 S&W Encore this weekend. Fired 20 rounds total, 15 of the mild trail boss loads... ho hum...

Fired 5 of the heavy H110 loads. Had to stop when it seemed the forend screws were getting loose. Didn't have a screw driver that could get down in the holes. Got home and realized that the front forend screw was broken off completely, and the back one was badly bent. They were some stompers!!

Have a different stock set on order from MidSouth (Pro-Hunter Composite)... hopefully it'll be more resilient than the laminated one.

I know this wasn't a lot of rounds, but the bore was still squeaky clean.

Didn't put them on paper. Was shooting with friends in an old quarry. All I can say is it was easy to hit an expired can of peaches from 30 yards. And they absolutely vaporized the peaches and a couple water filled milk jugs... Don't think I'll ever try these off a bench. Ouch.
