Awesome video, I wish I had 100 grand to spend on one of those cameras, though I'd probably just spend it on guns and reloading supplies. Oh well.

If I had one of those cameras Id probably never leave the basement. I'd be fired from my job, wife and kids would leave me, etc. Y'all would have a steady supply of slo-mo boolit videos to watch on YouTube though.

What amazed me the most was the crack propagation in the glass targets. Even at 1 million frames per second it was almost instantaneous. Amazing.

Sometimes it takes a second box of boolits to clear my head.

I've seen several of these videos . The BB bullet impact looks like the 1 done w/an airsoft pellet impacting a 44 cal. The original vid took about 10 takes to get a centered impact. Utube is full of these, my favorite is w/golf balls from a mini cannon.

Great video, the setup must take forever.
At about 50 seconds it looks like a gas check made it through the target.
Also noticed some of the rifle bullets seem to have a pointed base,
never noticed any like that before.

I shoot a lot of WW boolits at steel at 100 yards and can't even find lead dust.
Remember the old cowboy movies where a guy is on a rock or next to a rock wall with boolits hitting right next to him? Never gets hurt.
IIRC early on they used pieces of chalk launched by a slingshot to get that effect. Later squib loads stuffed in a hole then plastered over and painted to match the rock surface.
Nowdays they use a paint ball gun and pellets loaded with a pyrotechnic mixture that detonates on impact. These use a metal thats also used in some anti-tank shells to burn out the inside of a tank and ignite ordnance.
