The DD guys have been shooting ducks on TV and VHS since the nineties. Another moneymaker to promote their calls. I think if you watch an old hunting episode and compare it to one now they haven't changed much if any.

They are Happy Happy Happy all the way to the bank. More power to them. They know they will probably fade to obscurity, I really don't think they care.

Second duck call I ever bought was a duck commander about 85-86. A guy gave me his and said it was terrible. He had taken it apart. I had the box mine came in so I called. Phil answered the phone. I told him of the issue with the call. About 10 minutes and had it working just as good as mine. The conversation switched to fishing and we talked for a other 10-15 minutes.
I have called them a few times since and sent a few calls back to be tuned up. Always the nicest folks to deal with. Even got a few Christmas post cards from them off and on over the years.

I am a righty that shoots lefty, while I don't mind shooting right handed rifles, I am not crazy about semi auto right handed shotguns or side lock muzzleloaders.

I usually used double barrel shotguns, but just traded for another pump. We will see how I wind up liking it, would have probably liked an ithaca M37 better.
