    Ice fishing today.

    Caught a few keepers today and one lone white bass, there are two Coyotes in one picture. Perry lake KS

    It's been a long time for me since I have been icefishing, or any kind of fishing as a matter of fact, but I prefer to catch and eat crappies over bluegills.

    Nice sized pan friers you caught there. Very nice indeed, I think I smell fish frying in crumbs.....

    Good catch! I think it is charming that you can get thru the ice with just the ice auger!!! Just had to make up an extention for a workmates auger because the gearbox is in the hole and just barely make it thru to a open hole! Near 3 feet of ice so far this winter.

    Yes, good times for sure. I took off work Thursday and Friday just to fish while we have ICE that was 10" thick but a heat wave is here now maybe we will get a refreeze after the ice settles. I did get to try that brand new escimo auger, it was awesome.

    Me thinks dem is crappies, but a lot of folks call them white perch too.

    I think crappies are the best eating fish of all. Fried in a beer and Bisquik batter, yummy!
