We had our Christmas play at church last night. It was written by our Pastor's daughter (age 22). This is the most powerful play that I have ever seen. We are an old time Missionary Baptist church unaffiliated with any association. Anyway, to make a long story a little shorter, After the play' there was not a dry eye in the place. One of our members who is a victim of a bad car wreck 13 years, ago gave her testimony how that with a broken neck and very little hope of living, she gave her life to GOD on the hospital bed. She is now married and has a little boy. Her husband is one of the new preachers in the church. After her testimony, she sang " I want us to be together in Heaven". Now for the real praise. The invitation lasted for nearly 30 minutes! we had, now get this in this sinful day, we had not one but 12 souls added to the body of Christ last night! Praise God that these were added and pray for them. Most were young people (teens thru 20's ). I love to see things like this happen in this day and age. Jesus is coming soon. "Look up for your redemption draweth nigh."
