    please recommend me a check for the 22 Bator

    i have not used gas checks yet and would like to see what yall would recommend? i'm not ready to make them just yet so what would u buy? i should add that i'll be sizing with a push thru die. thanks in advance

    Hornady brand is best in my opinion. Hope you have better luck with your Bator than I did. Checks were not firmly attached, my G/C shank was no good. Had to ream them.

    I have copper checks ready to ship for 17.50 per thousand.

    In the past I used Hornady brand with my Bator. I now use my homemades. With 38RemUltaMags

    Hi again. I received my 22 Bator & also need GCs that will stay on. Will yours stay on the shank?

    No reason they won't, if you size to .226 that means the shank would have to be .206 for them to be a press fit and not crimp on most 22 shanks are .214 so I would say yup.
