I avoid the Prescott area. To close to J&G, a very dangerous place to visit with a credit card in your wallet!! BS aside the Prescott area is near perfect in my opinion. I've read the owner of J&G is catching some flack from new neighbors complaining about his shooting. As we could all guess, his new neighbors are from the left coast.

I love Kingman. It is the first place I go to in Arizona when I visit. Love the diner off Rt.66 just up from the big water tower next to the train station. I will be retiring in this area when the time comes. For now I am stuck in New York until then.
I keep trying to stay afloat but can't help from shooting holes in my own boat.

There is someone there who has several of the very old Tri-Standard reloading presses. I've often been tempted to drive over just to see them but...

An interesting local. Close to Las Vegas. Hot in summer. Not all that cold in winter.

In Kingman, do the vultures still gather to roost in the park at sundown?

Great rockhounding in the area not to mention a little gold prospecting. The buffets at Laughlin are quite good and the trout fishing there near the casino's can be pretty good in winter before the striped bass fishing begins as the water warms.

If you're gonna be stupid, don't pull up short. Saddle up and ride it all the way in.
