    Gentlemen

I am at home, speech is still garbled, getting speech therapy.
I can't read or type and sounds that I hear are garbled as well.
I am getting speech therapy, they tell me that my speech will
come back. My memory has holes in it as well.

I learn very slow but single word at a letter at a time.

Jerry it sounds like you are a fighter and will be up to speed in a while. Until then we will be praying for a total and complete recovery.

Keep working on it. The brain is an amazing device and can, with
effort and time, massively rewire and reprogram itself to work around
damaged areas. Don't give up, although I imagine it is very frustrating.

    Best wishes.

Keep fighting, Jerry. Welcome home in a couple of ways! You have a long haul but you will see progress from the start, and that is a blessing. It is slow but steady.

Sorry to hear that, Jerry. Just hang out in chat. Everything is garbled in there already, you will fit in with the rest of us!
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Prayers and best wishes going up for you to the Father.

My daughter had a massive stroke a year ago and it was touch and go for quite some time.
Now, a year out, she is still dealing with some issues of short term memory, but the progress she has made is amazing.

don't give up on yourself; you'll come back with the Lords help.

If, during your recovery, you find yourself becoming depressed, it is normal and situational. get some help and some medication if this should happen to you as it does to many stroke victims; it will make your quality of life considerably better and can be discontinued when the need is no longer there.

    blessings,
    vern
