I will take 1 at 453 with a FN. There is nowhere on the order for on the website to specify .453 that I can see.

Ok i test cast a few and loaded them up and thy look sweet.

thy seamed to feed from my Springfield operator 1911 mag just fine.
I tested the loads today and my loads where to light to cycle the gun using 4gr of unique. but i loaded a carry round first and then one of these and it cycled and chambered just perfect. group size was ok, being that this was a light load I feel groups will onley get better from here on. that is a 8 shot group at 20 yards.
I shot 10 rounds and i cant see ANY leading at all. I am impressed so far and this will be the bullet i shoot out of this gun from now on.

JT thanks for the eye candy and I am so ready for this mold. I have two mags worth of ammo and that is it.

On a plus note, I loaded 300 rounds of 9mm last night with the .360 version of this design so I am still covered.

I just did a big batch of the 9mm version also. They feed perfect in my 2 Hi-Powers, need to check them in a couple of other nines this Saturday. Hopefully these will work as well in my 45's.

JT, I thought these were spec'd to drop at .455, instead of the .452-.453 listed on the website. I'm going to have to check my measurements to make sure that will work for me, but I have my doubts. I think Springfield mentioned earlier in the thread that he was needing .454.

Ya 455 was the plan. long story short after testing I made my adjustments and re tested and thought we where good. Well after double checking thy where dropping smaller then I thought. But that being said I can run some larger for people wanting the much larger size.

Also the group buy molds are in the group buy section. You will notice that the price is $1,150 per mold. This is so I can give you a discount code and you will get the normal $115.00 per mold price. its the only way I could figure out how to keep the molds on the site for you to buy but keep other people from snatching them up. If you signed up for the group buy PM me and I will send you the code to use.

If you did not sign up for the group buy don't worry there are some extra molds listed in the pistol area for you guys.

All right i'm cutting the larger molds right now. if you need a .455 mold then wait till i get them posted before you order. also just to let you know the code will expire in a month and the molds go back into inventory for others to buy.
