    PID In An Ammo Can

I have built a parkerizing tank to be heated by a water heater electric element.
The element is 2500 watts, I also have a Lee Pot I use and wanted away to use the same PID temperature controller for both items.

The solid state relay in the box is good for 40 amps. All of the plugs used are good for 30 amps the water heater element will draw about 12 amps.

I was looking for a box to mount all of the equipment in and arrange the three plugs. The temperature sensor was to be stored in the same box.

I use an ammo can for the junction box.

The two output plugs will go either to a 220 volt or 120 volt heater.

I have 220 available at 50 amps for a TIG welding machine.

The two 120 volt a ground and the neutral are all connected with the plugs.

Not a bad idea with the price of enclosures these days. Too bad I don't have a spare.
