Fried Spam sandwiches with a couple of tall glasses of milk, it doesn't get any better than that. My wife makes me cook them for myself, she'll leave the kitchen.

Spam= spiced ham. It's all shoulder meat. Read the label. I love it, especially since they make a lower sodium version.

I do not eat it often, but there is always about 4 cans in the truck for when it's needed. Like to grind it up with sweet pickles and mix with mayo for sandwiches

blue catfish are notoriously unselective in their appetites. We used to cube laundry soap (Octagon or P&G) an duse that to catch catfish in still waters.

I can eat Spam. I never developed any appetite for Octagon soap.

Use Miracle Whip instead of mayo, and add a dash of prepared mustard as well.... MUCH more flavor, and a darned good sandwich. Sweet relish will save the work of chopping pickles.

What a bunch of low-brow, non-epicurean peasants we are.... isn't it great?

I have had great success using Spam cubes as jug fishing bait. As I recall I didn't even spring for the real stuff- I used stuff from the generic store and the catfish just ate it up.

If you ever want to make big points with a Korean couple being married, a gift of SPAM is very thoughtful. Their older people view SPAM as comfort food, and a gift of SPAM is a loving reassurance that you will never know famine, but if hard times come your way, you will have abundant life through the thoughtfulness and generosity of friends.

Spam will catch them 10-1 over any soap bait.

I consider spam to be an essential in my truck. I keep several cans on hand for emergency, because it will be there when the edible stuff is gone.

I will say it is better than potted meat, cause I could never get potted meat to stay on a fish hook.

I like it as a camping breakfast with scrambled eggs, although I do eat it at home, too.

Oh STOP! If you enjoy the eating Spam that's fine, but don't for a minute try to tell anyone it's "healthy."

My two dogs both love Spam. They would eat all I could give them. However, they just get small bites. Spam is too delicious to feed to the dogs.
