    Alliant 2004 Data for Handguns

In response to seeing a desire for more data on Alliant powder than their current website shows, I've scanned and uploaded the handgun data from their 2004 manual. It shows a lot more than current. Remember, it is 2004 data. I don't think much has changed, but it is YOUR responsibility for whatever you load, regardless of the source.

I have that particular guide and like it much better than their current one

Are these supposed to be starting loads or max loads?

Thank you for taking the time to scan and upload those. They will come in useful for working up some loads with these powders. I start low and chrono my ammo, but it is always nice to have published data to get an idea as to what various pros came up with when testing the powder, especially when just getting to know a particular powder.

I've never been able to access the loading data from any of the links above. Has something gone wrong with the links or did Alliant get "pissy" and ask that they be disabled?

    Kosh,

I can't view the images either, but the second result of a Google search for "alliant powder 2004" gave me a working link.

Be aware that Alliant has changed some data for some powders. As I can't access the data in the link I don't know if Blue Dot is listed but the data for 357 mag and 41 mag has changed due to loads not performing well as far as pressure is concerned.
I would only use current data for Blue Dot.

The original post here is a few years old. It looks like it was updated several revisions of the server ago, so the files are either not in the same place or are gone altogether.
