    Help.

I have run quite a few boolits through my machine and I have worked with the temp of the heater (using carnuba red) and adjusting the punch setting and I have slowed it down but I still get some lube on the nose of the boolit. Can you share your experience with me.

Lube on the nose is caused by either too much pressure, too much heat, or a slightly misadjusted top punch. It doesn't take much adjustment on any of these to get it right. Use a light touch when adjusting any of the three.

    Hope this helps.

If you are running air then then down the pressure to 40psi
If running the turn screw then lower temp
Don't like being hammered by the Cast Boolits Staff, then don't be a nail.
The rules are simple to follow.
