Labor Day at the Cast Boolits Bar & Grill

My friend, Daryl, came over today to help me celebrate Labor Day and my birthday. Janet made up some nice, big 1/3 pound burger patties and buttered the buns for toasting, so Daryl and I 'farred' up the Cast Boolits Grill and got at it.

Patties are done and the buns are toastin'! Almost ready!

I've been tryin' to get Daryl to join the forum, but he's not quite ready to hang out with a bunch o' hunters and shooters. He had a bad experience with guns many years ago an' he's jus' not comfortable with that yet.

Anyway, here's Daryl in the Cast Boolits grillin' apron and iconic camo hat.

I can understand Daryl not wantin' much to do with shootin' huntin' and such. I'm surprised he wanted anything to do with grillin', as I'm thinking parts of him had bad experience there too!
Enjoy the rest of the day!

    And by the way...Happy Birthday!

Puts a whole new meaning to "the buck stops here!" Looks like a good Labor day to me for you and Janet. Not sure about Daryl.

    Happy Birthday

I have to ask - those are "Beef" patties and not venison correct?

    - and is there another Daryl around there somewhere as I remember from "Newhart" they seem to come in pairs.
