Generally, I prefer milsurps look like milsurps but... I have a Lee Enfield "sporter" that shoots like a house on fire. Yours is WAY beyond that and looks very cool!

Is that a stock barrel? Hard to tell but it looks like it. I do like that muzzle brake! Maybe more than a.303 needs but nice!

I have been having lots of fun with my .303's. Not sure just what makes them different but I like them.

I have picked up two NOE moulds (316299 and 0.314" x 129 gr.) and one Mihec mould (316410) and all shoot well from all my .303's.

So, have you shot yours? How does it shoot? What boolit moulds have you got and what loads are you using?

A gun like that has to have targets displayed with it!

    Nice!

Patience...Patience....I had the whole rifle Duracoated and when I got it back the bolt felt a bit tight and rough so I figure they sprayed some inside ..so when I get round to it I have to clean it out....but if I don't sell it before I will post some groups

If you don't mind my asking, how much did the duracoat cost? Cool looking rifle. Should work great on squirrels and groundhogs.

The duracoat cost about $20 from ebay and I let my son who is an aspireing artist do it and he did a great job (almost)...the stock is from Boyds and is a pre fitted laminate...the muzzle brake is stainless steel and was made for the rifle ...it still has the original barrel (uncut) this rifle can be brought back to its original state just using parts...top mount is aftermarket.... it just took a long time to pick up the parts one by one and assemble..I also managed to pick up 350 rounds of HXP boxer primed FMJ and 100 rounds of POF berdan...so...rest assured targets are coming

Hmmm....! Sorry, I have this natural aversion to `sporterised`military rifles. But I have to say, I can't fault your enthusiasm.

There is nothing wrong with a nice sporterized No4 and the OP's one is awesome. But I have to say that an original No4 is a fine looking rifle - the best in fact. I have one No4 - a Fazakerley - that needs only the furniture to restore it to original. My Long Branches are beyond restoration - they've had their barrels shortened. But one of them is a superb hunting sporter bush rifle. Accurate as anyone can hope for (with my hand loads). But I long for a full original No4. An original MkIII would be awesome too.

I've always wanted one of the "Hands across the water" Savage built #4s. I agree they look great- all business.
