A close friend took his own life today. He had been fighting cancer for the last year. His family and friends are in shock. Please pray for him and for his family. I talked to him just yesterday about getting tables at an upcoming gun show. He sounded tired but not down. I guess you can never be sure what someone else is feeling.

Please keep yourself available for anyone in his family who wants to talk or who doesn't want to talk.
Lost my daughter day after christmas, same thing. Never easy to lose someone close, or someone you can't seem to get close to.
The shock can last a long time. I hope they all recover in time.

Sorry for your loss. But, I've had cancer, and survived. Watched my mom die from cancer, slowly. No way I'm going like that. If it comes back, I'll decide when to turn the switch off. My kids already know this. Live life to the fullest, because you don't know what tomorrow will bring. But, again, sorry for your loss.
