Many thanks to all. I would not wish these circumstances on anyone. I know I am strong enough, I've done this before. But this time we both want this to work. I just need the strength to carry on with the necessities so I can work through the pain without added stress.

Thank you for your prayers and thoughts. Things are improving, but I am struggling to move forward. There is just so much emotional damage that it is a daily struggle to want to work on it. 10 years of building trust and a life together was destroyed in a single night. I think I am doing the right thing by staying and trying to rebuild. She says it is what she wants and regrets everything and would change it if she could. God says forgive, and i'm trying, but forgetting is not working at all.

Forgetting will be the last to come. Forgiving will what will have to come first. Trust will come with time. hang in there and just go 1 day at a time.

Will be praying for you to make the right decision. If there are no children involved, do not put yourself in harms way. It is clear, there is one reason you would have the right to move on, and this is it. Otherwise focus on the children and you can move on when the time is right or carry on depending on your feelings. May you find peace in the name of our Lord and Savior.
