Age and years collection play a big part here.IMHO some pistols and revolvers reproduce in the safe.........

I have four SAA clones with different barrel lengths in .45 Colt. Not to mention a 1872 open top in .45 Colt to go along with them.
Listen! Do you hear it. The roar of cannons, the screams of the dying! Ahh! Music to my ears!

Ruger Blackhawks tend to accumulate hereabouts. I have 3 S&W K-frame M&P variants, all with 5" barrels, in 32-20, 38 S&W, and 38 Special chamberings. Also 3 N-frame 6"-6-1/2" variants--357, 41 Magnum, and 44 Special. Logic has little to do with it, I dare say.

These are fairly identical. They are (pre Model 10) Military and Police Hand Ejector .38 Special revolvers with 'C' serial number prefixes (1947 or so to about 1957.)

I have a couple 4" Model 19 S&W revolvers, but one has a narrow trigger, the other a wide target trigger. I have several Government Models, but they're all different.

Redundancy is good. You should own three each of those which work for you.

I several of a few different types of firearms but with a few exceptions I don't have multiples. I'm still working on one of everything and it'll be awhile before I start pairing them up.

If you own revolvers and don't have more than one Blackhawk then you are a little strange in my book

Guns and tools just seem to multiply.......maybe I should segregate them by gender?

4 629's but they are all different barrel lengths so that doesn't count right?
