Pure lead wouldn't really be an alloy... but, we know what you are saying.. it is the metal of choice.. Nice score on the pure lead..

I checked the alloy hardness with my lee hardness tester. The indent measured .092" and the lee chart only lists down to .079" @ 8 bh. So my alloy is 6 bh or less. I'm guessing 4 bh.

Still a great score Junior. Around here, I'd be jumping for joy at a buck a pound. Can't have enough pure lead.

I had a chance to buy 10T of pure last year, but I couldn't come up with the money.

I had offered $0.20/lb, and it was looking good, then the price jumped to $0.40 and I couldn't come up with more cash.
