Question And now, it's time to daydream. Infinite amount of cash!

What would you do with it?

Become debt free first off, then new vehicle and become a "secret" Santa for a couple local food pantries here.

Set up trusts for children, and grandchildren. Then buy a big plot of land, somewhere. donate to several charities I trust. buy the guns i've always wanted. build and aeroplane or two. maybe a few other things.

Buy my own large island in international waters - move there. Only allow Cast Boolits members to visit (armed of course)...

I have thought about this many many times and came to this thought about it. Unlimited funds for any one removes most of the bumps in the road of life and turns the person into a "observer" of life and no longer a "participant". Obstacles in life make us who and what we are do you overcome them or let them overwhelm you?

I think it would be a bit weird. No work? I would need to find things to keep me busy and hobbies alone wouldn't do it. I could see some volunteer work of some kind. A man needs to do for others or else he becomes overly self involved.

Get out of what debt I have, been working on that one for a while. About time I see daylight at the end of the tunnel, somebody builds more tunnel.
Retire, I have enough hobbies to keep me busy and with an abundance of cash, I would create another or two. I have a soft heart and a giving spirit so I would be helping those in need.
Buy more land, good hunting property and put a nice camp on it. Go to a few places that I've never been to. The list goes on.......

What would I do? Buy 15 or 20 acres in the country. Set a doublewide on top of a basement. Construct a 100 meter range with cement bench. Build a 2 stall garage with small shop to putter in, steel building BTW. New cars, NEH my Ford Escort 2001 and KIA Reo 2003 work just fine and get good gas mileage.

Rest would all be invested with all interest funneled into charities upon my wife and I's death. Principal? Split up between my 2 daughters.

Not much I need or wish for any longer. I'm pretty happy just as I am.

I would buy myself into the White House and put America back to the way our founding fathers would be proud of.

Get rid of my family members, close friends and my own debt. Then I would buy a few square miles of land somewhere in the mountains and have a compound for me and my friends. They would no longer be working as they would be on my payroll. What good is having all that money if there is no one to spend it w/. After that it's do whatever we feel like. There are plenty of places in the world I would love to see so I'm sure we would be traveling all over for a few years.

Much as Bin Laden did, i would finance fighters that stood for principles I believed in. I would lobby and buy enough senators and representatives to enact legislation promoting coal, local foods, US fur, US jobs and rewrite environmental laws to be fair and based on real science. I would make sure violaters of such enviromental laws were put on chain gangs from the CEO's on down. I would finance adequatly staffed hospitals with in a 45 minute drive of every US city over 5K.
I would reform welfare laws and finance healthy foods for the former recipents along with adequate training for work.
I would start a manufacturing business making Win 94's in 25-35 and 7-30 Waters, Savage 99's and K frame S&W's. Then I would work on the rest of the world. After that I would dig into a rare Rib Steak.

Those are noble and worthy "goals", but I'm not into waiting that long for my next rib steak.. even if I have to shoot the source, and cook it myself..should any reader luck into enough funds that they have problem laying some of it off, I found a fair sized cattle operation about three hours drive from here, 10,000 +++ deeded acres, state & Fed.leases, airstrip, estate level main home, another home for ranch manager, et al....send finders fee,and ,if needed, partnership proposal, by PM,this site. Get 'er done B4 Ted Turner grabs it up... Onceabull
